John Carter, Broker / Owner 

Proudly leading our amazing team of management and administrative staff. We serve the over 140 top REALTORS at our 3 locations in Edmonton and Beaumont, AB. who help you buy, sell and invest in residential and commercial real estate.
John’s role as Broker is a continuation of his involvement as an owner of the brokerage since 2008, and previously as Administration Manager from Oct 2014 to May 2017. Having started his career as a real estate investor while in university, he bought his first apartment building in the last year of his Bachelor of Management degree. Being a selling REALTOR® since 2002, John has grown and managed a team of up to 7, selling residential, condos and commercial investment properties with sales volume to date over $90 Million.

Fun fact: Lived on a 45 foot powerboat yacht for three years as a child in Victoria, BC and still loves sailing or anything on the water.

Shane Parent, Associate Broker / Owner 

Shane’s focus is those Associates operating in a team format. He has experience managing his own team of REALTORS for over 10 years, building many successful Associates. His involvement with various coaching programs, and a genuine attitude of support, are a key asset to those growing from being an individual to a team structure.

Fun fact: Is a world champion salsa dancer with his wife Avideh.

Robert Biddlecombe, REALTOR® / Beaumont Manager

Robert Biddlecombe spent 21 years in Canadian Airlines International. After his early retirement from the aviation industry, he joined a local company in a sales management role and found out that he enjoys giving exceptional customer service.

Robert joined RE/MAX and became a REALTOR® in 2003. Real estate gives him the freedom to do what he loves, working with people to achieve their dreams and serving the community. Why RE/MAX? Because Robert believes in its values. He loves being a part of a team-oriented company with award-winning service and strong ties to the local community of Beaumont and surrounding areas.

He is the former president of Beaumont Business Association, a founding member and past president of Beaumont Cruizers Car Club, and a coach for almost 7 years for the Beaumont Minor Baseball Association.

Fun Fact: First car was a 1965 Ford Mustang and have had a love for classic cars ever since.

Kimberly Graham, REALTOR®, Associate Development

Kimberly joined us in 2014 when she moved from Winnipeg with her husband. During her eight years at RE/MAX in Winnipeg, she helped develop many new Associates through their mentoring program. Since joining RE/MAX River City, she has been a very active part of the office including training sessions and the social committee. Her industry knowledge, energy, and passion for real estate are contagious and power her supporting the growth of Associates at RE/MAX River City.

Fun fact: She comes from a family of anglers and hunters, and shot archery, sometimes competitively while growing up.

Anna Arsenault, Administration Manager

Anna is responsible for support team supervision and thus all facets of Office Administration including transaction conveyancing and accounts. She is onsite Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm to promptly deal with any issues with your closings as well as any questions you may have regarding Associate financials. Our goal is to resolve any issues in your business quickly and easily for you so you can sell more real estate.

Fun Fact: Is a proud mom to two taekwondo ninjas!




This is typically the first impression and interaction with the office. As the smiling, welcoming face to greet you and your clients, we ensure friendly, accurate and efficient communications and tasking. Answering all phone calls and relaying detailed messages to all REALTORS, timely forwarding all faxes, emails or packages.  Reception staff handle the processing of listings for all REALTORS and their clients as well as other administrative needs.

Staff are on site at the Saskatchewan Drive location and available until 9pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm. This facilitates you and your clients being able to pick-up or drop-off deposit cheques, keys, offer paperwork or other important items. Calls are managed by a member of the office rather than an after-hours paging service, to provide highest and best level of service and knowledge.


Ashley Urban, Reception (Old Strathcona)

Fun fact: Known as “Super Auntie” to Ethan & Jaya. Has a love for photography and creating memories with her family and friends.

Tiffany Peterson, Reception (South Edmonton) 

Fun fact: National Bikini competitor with a love for pizza she can’t deny! Mmm pizza… Show love as often as you can, even a simple smile can brighten anyone’s day!

Phillip Hansen, Reception (Beaumont)

Fun fact: Plays D&D twice a week with his long-time friends

Alanna McKellar, Reception 

Fun fact: Was a gymnast for 10 years. Is currently actively participating in an adult gymnastics class and still loves it!

Terri-Ann Kotyk, Reception 

Fun fact: Loves to travel and went to Europe for the first time in the summer of 2017 where she went to 8 countries in 24 days. Although her all time favorite place to travel to, is and will always be Disney world.

Conveyancing Department

Manages the accurate and timely processing of all your real estate trades, ensuring exact commissions, and serving as a double check on all paperwork to protect both you and your clients. Communicating with all lawyers with instructions for payment and processing of all trades.

Brandi Cadieux, Senior Conveyancer

Fun fact: Is the former team manager & board member of the Millwoods Grizzlies football club, which her son plays on.

Juby Tamayo, Conveyancer 

Fun fact: A natural gift of photography during travels. Loves to explore places and lead serving church ministry.

Finance Department

Emily Stamm, Finance

Ensures accurate and timely processing of payment of commissions to all REALTORS and outside Brokerages on a daily basis. Conducts the input of individual expense charges for your monthly expense statement as well as other accounting functions.

Fun fact:  Cat mom to 4 Himalayan ragdoll kitties. Loves: animals, videogames, and travel. Hates: lavender, pumpkin, and soup.
