With three locations in the central south side of Edmonton and Beaumont, client's perception is that you're able to market homes in all areas of greater Edmonton. Offices located in specific periphery areas of the city can be seen to be neighborhood experts for that small area, but that their REALTORs don't have market knowledge in other areas of the city.
River City Associates can use any office location at any time. Office hours at South location are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with full access at anytime by our Associates. Beaumont is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. The Old Strathcona office are Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm, Saturdays and Sundays 11am - 4pm to provide you, and your clients with better service and direct access for key pickup/drop-offs, meetings and more.
With a multitude of training opportunities, they options are extensive, but also customized to where you are in your business. Weekly training sessions run every Tuesday covering various topics, Associate roundtables monthly to share ideas amongst your colleagues, sales volume targeted roundtable discussions for those under $100,000 in annual sales, those from $100,000 up to $250,000 and those over $250,000.
We are certified and offer training programs from top names in the real estate training industry in North America, including: Brian Buffini & Co. and Richard Robbins. This is in addition to the extensive video and online training tools database through RE/MAX International and Western Canada.
John Carter has an extensive career in real estate since first being licensed in 2002. Having grown from an individual Associate, growing to manage a team of seven selling residential, commercial and project marketing. He worked for three years in Toronto for a commercial firm, developing and leading their multi-family division. Representing clients in over $90 million in transactions to date. All Associates appreciate his expert technical real estate regulatory knowledge, but it's the mix of practical knowledge and sales experience that support our Associates in their daily business lives.

Proudly leading our amazing team of management and administrative staff. We serve the over 140 top REALTORS at our 3 locations in Edmonton and Beaumont, AB. who help you buy, sell and invest in residential and commercial real estate.
This is continuation of his involvement as an owner of the brokerage since 2008, and previously as Administration Manager from Oct 2014 to May 2017. John has been a licensed REALTOR since 2002, and investing in real estate since 2001. He bought his first apartment building in his last year of a bachelor of management degree, and has represented clients on residential and commercial transactions totaling over $90 Million.
His philanthropic passions are troubled youth, cancer cures and the environment.
Fun fact: Lived on a 45 foot powerboat yacht for three years as a child in Victoria, BC.
Shane Parent, Associate Broker / Owner
Shane's focus is those Associates operating in a team format. He has experience managing his own team of REALTORS for over 10 years, building many successful Associates. His involement with various coaching programs, and a genuine attitude of support, are a key asset to those growing from being an individual to a team structure.
Fun fact: Is a world champion salsa dancer with his wife Avideh.
Kimberly Graham - Associate Development Coach / South Branch Manager
Kimberly joined us in 2014 when she moved from Winnipeg with her husband. During her eight years at RE/MAX in Winnipeg, she helped develop many new Associates through their mentoring program. Since joining RE/MAX River City, she has been a very active part of the office including training sessions and the social committee. Her industry knowledge, energy, and passion for real estate are contagious and empower her supporting the growth of Associates at RE/MAX River City.
She manages the operations of the South office location, being onsite for REALTOR questions, concerns, training and office needs on site.
Fun fact: She comes from a family of anglers and hunters, and shot archery, sometimes competitively while growing up.
Anna Arsenault - Administration Manager
Anna is responsible for support team supervision and thus all facets of Office Administration including transaction conveyancing and accounts. He is onsite Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm to promptly deal with any issues with your closings as well as any questions you may have regarding Associate financials. Our goal is to resolve any issues in your business quickly and easily for you so you can sell more real estate.
Fun fact: Is the proud Mom to two taekwondo ninjas.
