DocuSign vs Authentisign vs NexOne (REALTOR® Review)

Technology is moving forward at an unprecedented pace — changing how we conduct business. E-signature platforms continue to dominant the market, as real estate agents, brokers, and clients can speed up the buying and selling process through signing paperwork on the go on your mobile device.

In this article, we are going to compare the three giants in the industry DocuSign, Authentisign and NexOne formerly known as Repree. We will look at their features, pricing, and ease-of-use so you can decide what platform is best for your business.

DocuSign

DocuSign pioneered e-signatures and is now one of the leading names in the industry. Trusted by millions of users, DocuSign offers amazing business solutions for REALTORS® — from sales contracts, offer letters and account openings to invoices. DocuSign empowers the REALTOR®, allowing you to complete contracts in minutes and get rid of those piles of paperwork.

“DocuSign is an easy to use software that takes very little setup time. It’s so simple to create an account, set up templates, send documents, and customize the website to fit your needs. I am very impressed with the speed at which we were able to start using the system and how quickly we could start sending documents. Also, our clients and employees sign documents so much faster, which cuts down on our workload and cost to the company. It’s also very easy to set up templates to use and you can customize them later.”

– Sandy Hopwood, Fit Small Business

Authentisign

Another big name in the industry, Authentisign have enjoyed success in the paperless business for years. In 2020, Authentisign had over 750,000 licensed users and processed over 28 million in Canada and USA alone.

“This is the service the Tennessee Association of Realtors endorses and now gives free to its members with Instanet Forms. I have used it for 4 years now and it is so easy that I can use it on my smartphone or tablet and find when I am in meetings I can discreetly take care of my contract signings with little effort. I feel empowered.”

– Deb Reynolds, Activerain

Now I use this time on dollar productive activities or just to relax with the family!”

What each platform looks like in your inbox…

Real Estate Agents are constantly receiving new emails; making it easy and common for one to be missed. Therefore, it is crucial for important electronic signing documents to stick out and have clear headers, so you can follow-up with the appropriate actions and the process is seamless. DocuSign, Authentisign, and NexOne all show up differently in inboxes, so depending on your preference this may gear you to a different platform.

Conclusion

If you ONLY need certain e-signature functionality, then Authentisign at CAD $120/year offers the best bang for buck.

If you need more features, DocuSign for REALTORS® is the best choice — despite being on the more expensive side. The mobile apps which allow you to conduct business on the go is the key difference. Not to mention the ability to add your branding.

NexOne, a newer program, also has a bright future ahead as it focuses mainly on real estate (unlike the other two) and has steadily increased its functionality. However, the inability to personalize the inbox message may be a dealbreaker for some.

In terms of features and price, DocuSign is the clear winner. And that’s not a surprise. Its dominance in the industry was built on its experience in pioneering the e-signature technology. With hundreds of integrations, mobile apps, and branding support, we believe that DocuSign is a must-have for every REALTOR® — whatever your needs may be.
